Design Communication: Cartesian Coordinate System
Visualization as a realm builds skills to facilitate design thinking, but it exceeds mechanics and technique. Visualization is both architecture's intermediary and architecture itself. Red pins on the physical model are used to notate points along the surface of the paper model. These points are representing a matrix of the key 3D information from 3 elevations. Points follow the reflecting logics of a spine construction. The three elevations are informing one another based on the Cartesian XYZ coordinate system. These points are used as registration for each of the three elevations.
